DWI Charge Among Saturday Incidents For Ramapo Police

RAMAPO, N.Y. — A driving while intoxicated charge topped the list of incidents on Saturday for the Ramapo Police Department.

An officer stopped a vehicle around 10 a.m. on Route 17 in Ramapo, and arrested a 57-year old male from Avenel, N.J. for DWI.

Other incidents that occurred among the 66 calls for service include four car accidents, 13 alarm activations, a fire and one medical emergency.
